At the opening performance, two service staff served exquisite canapés only to a small number of randomly selected guests. The canapés were ordered from Dark Wings Inflight - a catering company exclusively for private jet customers. If a canapé - for whatever reason - was refused, it landed kindly but firmly in the bin for everyone to see. The performance refers to the carefree traveling habits of private jet owners*, which produces ten times more emissions than large commercial aircraft. commercial aircraft. Here, the land of milk and honey “presents itself as a real utopia in which “apocalypse blindness” (Günther Anders) leads to the future being sacrificed to the moment and thus common sense, social reason, to carpe diem.”
