When we think of prison literature, it becomes clear that many texts now considered canonical were written in prison or deal with imprisonment. From Luxemburg, Gramsci, Dostoevsky, or Kafka to Foucault, Martin Luther King, and Angela Davis, we find writings that radiate explosive force and that we would not want to miss.
