Puzzled together, these postcards read STOP TURNING SOCIETAL PROBLEMS INTO CRIMES. The persecution and sentencing of peaceful protesters has increased in many countries. The non-governmental organisation Global Witness has confirmed the deterioration of the situation and the increasing violence against environmental activists and environmentalists. During the exhibition visitors were asked to write supportive words to detained climate activists. The postcards are stamped and sent to various inmates in UK prisons in the months that follow. The many written cards from exhibition visitors include poems, drawings and words of support for those currently serving sentences
